How the city pages are built

Every city has its own page — not because the service differs, but because the trees and the conditions do. Species mix, building height, street width and parking all change how the work is done and what it costs.

Each city page covers what characterises the local planting, what people there usually book, and what needs checking before a date is set.

What changes from city to city

Access comes first. In Tel Aviv and Ramat Gan the work is usually in narrow internal courtyards, between buildings and over parking — which means lowering branches in sections and coordinating with residents in advance. Herzliya, Kfar Saba and Ramat HaSharon have more private yards with direct access, and the work moves faster.

Second is what grows there. Street palms along boulevards create steady annual cleaning work; mature ficus in building courtyards create thinning and structural pruning; higher areas like Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh have more cypress and pine, which need an entirely different approach to dead wood.

Third is the municipality. A felling permit is required under the Forest Ordinance everywhere, but processing times and reporting requirements vary between authorities — which affects the schedule for anything beyond straightforward pruning.
